We hope to keep the tradition going as long as we can. Fishing is always fun and the sand beach is perfect for our young family. The lake is large but small enough to kayak. We love how quiet it is. My husband and 3 kids uner 8 stayed here for 6 days and we absolutely loved it! The pennisula/point is a little sandbar which was perfect for our kids. The water surrounding is shallow and warm. Not a super busy lake either. Theres a literal babbling brook along side the cabin and you can hear it from the deck. The amenities were fantastic. We don't rent many private places so i wasnt sure what all would be provided but there was plenty of towels, beach towels, blankets/sheets/pillows, more than enough dishes, kayaks and lilypad to use, fishing poles, life jackets and lawn chairs. There is no central AC, which is fine, its a cabin! There is a window AC unit in the main living space, and we were there during a heat wave so we positioned the fans into the bedrooms and that helped alot at night. Our family made some great memories playing on the sandbar, in the creek, fishing on the dock and hanging out on the deck. The lake was small enough to enjoy kayaking across the whole thing and big enough to enjoy it 2 different days. Kids loved swimming also and going in the kayaks. Having access to log into our Netflix made it nice for us to enjoy some inside time on the rainy day. St. Croix falls had a nice boat ride to enjoy the river view on our way out of town.
