« Had a great time in The Little House, perfect location for me and my dog. The sandy/grassy area before the beach is perfect for an active canine, and beyond the beach stretches as far as the eye can see in either direction. I did think the accommodation had wifi (an oversight on my part), but that wasn't a big problem. Great TV with Freeview - tho there is a knack to getting the handset the work - you need to know where to aim it! If I went again I would take a head torch and my dog's flashing...

Lovely house, brilliant location, 10 mins in the car to Great Yarmouth, 10 mins walk to the lovely beach with all the amenities you need.Parking at the rear and free car park across the road.Sit and watch the boats/ ships come into the harbour from the sea.We would recommend this house to everyone.Lovely beaches all down that coast. Go and see the seals at Horsey beach.Brilliant. »

« Thistle Dew bungalow has everything you need for a lovely holiday. Excellent facilities and fittings. Loads of extras too. ( Cooking equipment, cleaning equipment, spare loo rolls etc ) Ample room for 4 people and 2 dogs although we were only 2 people and one old English Bulldog ! Excellent value for the price! "Proximity to the train station is quite nice and the staff were very friendly. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this hotel because the room itself was not well maintained. There was black mould growing in the shower because it wasn’t properly sealed. I also couldn’t find a pillow that was very comfortable. But the most frustrating part was there was an intermittent and very loud rumbling sound in my room that kept me awake almost the entire night. I turned off my AC but that didn’t stop it. The concierge said that normally they’d switch my room, but that night there was a football game in the nearby stadium so they were fully booked. I was offered earplugs, but I’d already tried earplugs and I could still feel the vibrations in my bed; I was also worried that if I wore earplugs I’d sleep through my alarm (the only power outlet where my phone could charge was on the other side of the room) and I had a train to catch the next morning. It’s fair to say that I haven’t ever had a worse sleep in a hotel. The staff were polite and accommodating, but they were limited by substandard facilities. I thank them for their efforts, but I likely won’t be staying here again."
