The location was great, peaceful despite being near lots of other cabins and the kids loved playing in the woods. We spent lots of time relaxing in and around the cabin but also went to Mablethorpe (beach and seal sanctuary), the Lincolnshire Wolds Railway, Louth leisure centre (good pool for little ones), Tattershall castle and to Hull to visit the Deep - all easily accessible from the cabin. The cabin itself was warm and a perfect size for us. It was very well equipped and there was lots of hot water. It was quite basic, but had everything we needed and we would definitely go back. Emily was very responsive in advance too. All in all an excellent stay. ##### Abigail T. Its location is perfect with open space in front of it and walking trails close by. It was incredibly peaceful - we loved sitting out on the veranda, regardless of the weather. The layout of the cabin works great and it had everything we needed. The area is wonderful - lots to do - we enjoys walks to a local pub (the Splash), visiting Louth, Hubbards Hills and so much more. Lack of facilities and amenities suited us, we just needed a quiet base to explore the area and spend time with friends. It’s not as modern and airy as the new style ones on most sites, which actually are usually cladded caravans , this is a proper wooden lodge, so a bit darker and less natural light, with quite dated bathrooms. Located in a pretty wood with outdoor space for kids to play. Walkable pub nearby and seasides easily drivable. Also close to Louth centre and Hubbard’s hills.
