This motel was great for a one or two night stay before your cruise. Area looks scary but we walk around for looking places to go. People walking on the street said hello at no time did anyone ask for money or food. Very safe walking around. Many restaurants and Starbucks very close by. I would stay here all the time while taking a cruise from San Pedro,ca. it was pouring down rain and the owners gave us umbrellas to use. Sam their son was a pleasure to talk to.
