Dissapointing
Rooms were tiny, toilets dirty. They charge you to leave your luggage if you arrive early or want to store it at the hotel for a few hours before you leave.

This place is good only if you are short of money, don’t expect this to be like the Ritz. You will encounter with low class uneducated people, loud rude teenagers that won’t let you sleep. However I supposed if you are lucky you will get a quiet room, a good with considerate roommates and a clean wall without buggers.

Headache for the night, but will have more money!?
Value for money but headache for your night. This brand used to be very good when it launched.

Best possible location, Russell Square underground station is a straight shot from Heathrow on the Piccadilly line, the hostel is also 2 blocks from Euston, a major train station. Shopping center half block away with 3 groceries including an awesome Asian one, restaurants everywhere in every direction. 2 block from the Nat’l library & its reading rooms if you need somewhere to sit quietly & relax, b/c that won’t be happening in the hostel which has no common areas except it’s restaurant/bar where you must buy something to hang out. British Museum less than 15 minutes by foot on the other side of Russell Square. Cramped rooms, tiny showers, half the bathroom stall doors don’t lock, not enough electrical outlets, but with this location they really don’t have to make any apologies…

Make sure you dont get the basement rooms.
Stayed up in London, and been asked for ID they trow up a fuss if you dont have a physical ID and seem to make up the rules as they go along. The smell in the basement floor rooms was horrendous, like the piss house of london.

Very handy to those main attractions like British Museum. It is in close proximity to the main traffic hub, King's cross St Pancras Station, so easy to plan travelling to the places nearby London. During my stay, I woke up very earlier due to noise; I am not sure whether it was due to the operation of the Underground (my best guess, it is located on top of an underground line. In addition, it was not warm inside the room as the heater was mounted almost up to the celling and it was central controlled (only turned on around 20:00 during my stay)

Very bad experience
They put the heating on only 3 hours day.Was -1C outside and no heating in the room. was very cold in the room. The reception didn't care about this.was very unfriendly. I got sick because of this.

No heating in the room
Not recommended.Is very cold in the rooms.they put the heating on just a few hours a day.night time is very cold in the room the staff was rude.

Truly a "living in a dorm" experience. Assumed having a private room would feel more like a hotel. Small bathroom had shower with no walls! Plan to live out of your suitcase in the room.

Place itself was terrible and dirty Bathrooms were broken seemed like horror movie bathroom on top floor, narrow elevator barely fit 3 people, no fans or AC in the room, One of the employee end up pushing me with a big clothing stroller in the elevator without noticing if anyone was in there But other than that Place was super close and convenient to every major destination around Tbh cant expect for a better location than this to go to places from here But the hostel itself was disappointing with living situation

Air conditioner a bit loud at night as we’re slamming doors, otherwise no issues. Absolutely loved that food was served until late, not having to find somewhere to eat outside. After a long day on my feet sightseeing, really enjoyed the food and the pint that went with it. Good atmosphere. Central location on Piccadilly line ideal.

The location of the hostel is excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful during my stay. The only negative experience during my stay was that the room was a bit too warm, because the portable AC did not manage to bring down the temperature enough. I am certain I will consider booking a room at this hostel again.
