Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Lomnica?
The best area to stay in Lomnica is directly within the village itself, particularly around the historic Palace Lomnica.

The estate includes the main palace, the smaller manor house, beautifully maintained gardens, and several historic farm buildings now housing shops and restaurants. It's a peaceful rural setting, great for those seeking a tranquil escape.

For couples, staying at the Palace Lomnica offers a romantic and refined experience. You'll be surrounded by 18th-century architecture, elegant interiors, and the quiet beauty of the surrounding parkland. Families will also find the Palace Lomnica estate welcoming. The expansive grounds provide plenty of space for children to explore, and there are often activities or workshops run on the estate.
When is the best time to go to Lomnica?

During late spring, the landscapes around Lomnica are lush and green, and the temperatures are mild, making it ideal for exploring the local walking trails and gardens. The days are long, allowing for extended outdoor activities without the summer heat.

Early autumn offers similarly comfortable temperatures along with the stunning colours of the changing foliage.
