The breakfast is freshly cooked we recently was on a cruise the breakfast at this hotel way of a better standard that the cruise ship The owners were very friendly We would not hesitate to book again of we visit Liverpool In fact if it was nearer home we would book very often for a nice breakfast

The location for visiting Liverpool was brilliant with the iconic 'Ferry cross the Mersey' just a 10 minute walk away as well as regular and frequent buses to other parts of the Wirral. We had a great view from our room over the Mersey to Liverpool. Our room was really comfortable, breakfast freshly cooked and delicious. Dave and his lovely Mum went out of their way to make us welcome with excellent advice about where to go and how to get there. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this Hotel to anyone wanting to see Liverpool and explore the fascinating Wirral coastline.

Room was spotlessly clean. The staff were so helpful and friendly, told us how to use the local transport links into the city. Breakfast was first class, all freshly cooked and high quality products. Parking was easy on site and felt safe leaving the car parked there. Thank you for a great stay.

Stay here approximately 4 times a year. That says it all. Great staff and owner Dave is very obliging a cooks a great breakfast. Perfect for short stays. Lovely comfortable beds and spotlessly clean rooms. Getting a bit old now, a shower mat would be a great addition to have to prevent accidents/slips.

Dave is so friendly and helpful. As the notice at reception says, "arrive as strangers, leave as friends". He and Colette (who helps with rooms, etc) showed me how to get around unfamiliar travel systems (easy when you know how!) Breakfasts were good, often accompanied by good chats. Thanks Dave, I'll be back!

Lovely and very friendly hosts. Breakfast plentiful. B&B is on the other side of the river. Short uber ride did the trick. Quiet location. Old newspaper building so has character. The hosts have been doing it up over the years. Parts of the B&B could do with a bit of updating (eg paintwork on doors), but most importantly it's clean and spacious. Bathroom was new. Very nice breakfast area. Had a lovely short stay.
