The carpet was not vacuumed - lots of dust around the desk. The beds were uncomfortable. The smoke detector light was really bright and shined down in our faces all night. I left after one night of the originally planned 2-night stay, but they still charged me for the second night because they didn't get 24 hours notice - even though I checked out at 8am. The front desk person said someone would call me about this, but they didn't. I called to request a manager and was asked to leave my number for a call back, which i did. Still no call. The next time I called I spoke with the manager (Jay) who told me he'd call me back the next day, but he didn't. I was not asking for a refund for the night that I stayed, but they did not have to charge me for that second night. Especially when I left because it was unsatisfactory!"
