« Our 3 night stay included 2 nights of very bad storms and the host was very responsive to our needs. She went above and beyond, despite other cabins needing more asistance. This is a great little "cabin in the woods", so if you are looking for a 5 star hotel this isnt the place for you. We always pack "to be prepared", and this came in handy. We enjoy our "creature comforts of home" and so we brought them with us. We brought all our own food and drinks...otherwise it would have been a 30 minute...

« House was big enough to sleep 14, beds were comfortable and house was clean. Great communication with the host, had to advise the host of several repairs that needed to be made and he was open to the information. My family enjoyed their stay but was unable to swim due to the red ants surrounding the pool. »

« We had trouble getting lock box open. The rugs we picked up because I have four family members have trouble walking. There was huge cobwebs in both bathroom right across from toilet almost. One chair missing screw. Lots of bugs. A recliner would be helpful for people almost 90 hard for them get up. I don’t mean to complain but true »

« We enjoyed a show at Lucas Oil Stadium & then took a quick drive to the beautiful & relaxing property of Deer Creek. The cabin was exactly as described, & my family & I enjoy our weekend stay. We enjoyed the deer in the mornings & sitting on the porch in the evenings. The property is very peaceful & we only ever heard the rain. Would highly recommend. »

« We were in the Whitesboro area for an activity. The cabin was a great alternative to a hotel - comparable in price and much more comfortable! The only downside was that the 100+ degree weather made it difficult for the loft to stay cool. A box fan available made it cool enough to sleep. We would definitely stay there again! »

« The property is beautiful. Located on a peaceful ranch, with horses, donkeys and cows. The sunsets were amazing. The pool is huge and perfect for hot days. The house is large and clean. The kitchen is perfect for large gatherings and very well equipped with anything needed to prepare meals. The outdoor kitchen was great for grilling dinner. Things to consider, this property is set up as a wedding venue. As such, it is beautifully decorated. We had to make sure to keep the kids out of the dinning...

« The road to the home is very curvy which we are accustomed to because of where we live however there really isn’t room for 2 vehicles. We pulled up to the home and immediately noticed a swarm of flying insects. It’s understandable that they are there since it is very close to water. The home itself is amazing with the softest beds ever. Everyone absolutely enjoyed the home and we all left with ideas for our own home. Communication was great and the extra items for us to use was very thoughtful....
