"A lovely "getaway from it all" location. Sweet little gite, a bit basic (not luxury) but had everything we needed and more, with a very comfortable bed and a great shower. Owner was very responsive. We had a very nice and simple dinner and drinks in the restaurant. Very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Highly recommend this hotel and a visit to Rouen."

"The hotel is in the less historic part of town on the other side of the River Sienne, not very pretty and quite commercial, lots of fast food outlets and a thriving African community, some lively bars and pubs playing some great Afrobeat. The hotel looks over a huge shopping centre, however it’s also next to a large and very beautiful cathedral on the square, ask for a room on the top floor with a view of the church, spectacular as the sun was setting. The hotel is pretty basic but it is what it is, a bit tatty around the edges, could do with a few repairs, chipped and scuffed wood, lick of paint etc. But the main thing was that it was clean, the bed was big and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful and most importantly, it was cheap!"
