Hotel was holding a large separate function which initially meant we were denied a table in the restaurant - we were on a cycling tour, staying one night, so this was frustrating after a long day's ride. However, on reflection, we were granted a table. Food was superb, facilities were great, once the initial restaurant hurdle was over, we found the staff friendly and helpful.

Très bel hôtel dans un environnement apaisant.
Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel alors que nous étions invités à un mariage. La chambre est très belle et très calme, l’environnement est boisé et calme malgré le bâtiment qui accueille des cérémonies à proximité. Très bon accueil et professionnalisme du personnel.

A one-night stay in the Anjou region
A very conveniently situated hotel in a pleasant, peaceful setting. The room was well-equipped and comfortable, and the service friendly and efficient. Our meal in the hotel restaurant was superb and very good value for money.

Great hotel in wonderful surroundings. Staff very friendly and helpful. We were at a wedding and the reception was there as well so it was perfect for us. For people wanting more facilties or to be near other restaurants it is out of the way so you need a car to get to anywhere.

A well appointed hotel but with room to improve
Bad start. Hotels,.com email showed address as Les Garennes sur Loire, which does not exist. Actual address Juigne sur Loire. Result an hour of stress and unnecessary driving. Also hotel needs to decide is it Loire et Sens or Fief de la Thiore. Depends which sign you reach first. Good things - well spec'd room, plenty of storage space and good shower and bed. But no A/C when temperatures above 30c. They did however promptly provide a fan which helped. Staff pleasant and helpful ( except had to wait five minutes for someone to arrive at check-in desk). Food - good but not exceptional. And a bit slow - 2 hours for a 3 course meal may suit the French way but not ideal. Breakfast good but not for 16 euros. Only hot food scrambled eggs and bacon. Location and setting good for a relaxing break but again, no sitting room where one could relax and read. Lot of TV stations listed would not open, including BBC world. Too tired to complain so perhaps our fault. Easy to find once you know the right location and good for Angers and travelling south.

High Quality and Service
Hotel is very near to busy Angers and the motorway but in a quaint village, down a country lane and surrounded by woods . Staff are excellent, very helpful and genuinely look to assist in making stay as pleasurable as possible. Duplex room is huge and easily converts to ground floor and upstairs private accommodation. Dining is superb. Missed breakfast as had to unexpectedly leave early in the morning, which was a shame as the dinner had left us looking forward to more. The leisure pool is very good, but because of the underwater aerobic equipment, quickly becomes busy for swimming in a narrow lane. That said, the leisure facilities are brand new, exceptionally clean and in first rate condition. This isn't a cheap hotel, but you do get what you pay for, significant quality and service.

Peaceful retreat in the Loire Valley
This was a really comfortable hotel, that was quiet and restful, but beware you definitely need a car, otherwise, you'll spend a lot of money on taxis. My only complaint, is that a big draw of this hotel was the pool, and that closed in the early evening, so we couldn't utilize it after a day of sightseeing. The staff was extremely helpful.

Great hidden treat just off the Loire
We stayed for one night and made good use of the facilities, including the pool. The setting was great and the central gardens were very picturesque. The restaurant was closed for dinner, which we had been notified of in advance. But the breakfast was great. And reasonable.

Bel hôtel au calme avec un personnel accueillant Les : le calme, l’accueil, la superficie de la chambre et la qualité de restauration pour le déjeuner et dîner Les -: manque de gâteaux ou de jus à l’accueil et sur le plateau d’accueil, des serviettes rikikis et trops fines pour le spa , un bain à Remou pas adapté et avec des jets mal placés et froids, des casiers à la piscine non fermés, une piscine avec des vélos qui prennent la moitié de la piscine Manque de l’eau ou du thé à l’espace détente En bref l’espace bien être n’est pas à la hauteur de l’hôtel

Très bon séjour. L'ensemble du complexe est agréable, calme et verdoyant. La baie vitrée de la chambre donne sur un patio sans vis à vis. L'espace "bien être" est bien conçu mais l'eau du jacuzzi est beaucoup trop froide et le hammam n'est pas de grande qualité (sorties de vapeur sont mal réparties et peut brûler au niveau des jambes...). Bon accueil. Le restaurant propose une cuisine raffinée.

Superbe cadre campagne repos très belle chambre beau confort 4 étoiles. Le soucis l espace détente le spa vestiaire en commun ne chauffe pas, pas de fermeture pour les casiers et absence de sèche cheveux, pas d eau dans pédiluve des clients et des enfants avec des chaussures et piscine pas très chaude, bain à remous froid pour un spa. Un point tisanenerie serait un plus ainsi que des chaises longues...

Un lieu magnifique et un accueil parfait.
