« Honestly, this property and the whole experience exceeded all my expectations (which were already pretty high). Kent and the team were so accommodating, making sure that we had everything that we needed and were available at any time. They made special plans to accommodate some friends for a day visit and were so kind and helpful. The property itself was so perfect for what we wanted and the dog so enjoyed the freedom that only a private island can bring! Thanks, Kent, for a very memorable stay....

« This lake cottage was peaceful, serene and just plain magical! The screened porch was a wonderful cocoon from which we enjoyed views of the lake and wildlife while sipping coffee and eating meals. The binoculars provided came in handy when viewing the eagles, loons and the blue heron which fed at the shoreline. The towels were plush, the bed was comfy and the kitchen was well equipped. « The cookware mentioned in the description consisted of one tiny pot with no lid and one frying pan. The "stovetop" was a Coleman gas stove. The refrigerator drained the battery for the generator, so we couldn't use it reliably. We are experienced backwoods campers, so if we had known all of this, we would have brought our own cookset, and food that did not require refrigeration.
