« Nous avons passé une nuit dans cet hôtel situé en plein centre-ville. Il est vieillot, mais fort agréable. Une laverie est mise à disposition des clients, ce qui est très pratique. Le personnel à la réception était très serviable et agréable, mais le service de ménage passe à 9h50 pour frapper à la porte et vous signaler de manière un peu cavalière qu'il faut libérer les lieux. »

« hotel facile d'acces sur la route qui traverse Oamaru. Belles chambres et personnel sympathique. Seul point noir, l'isolation phonique entre les chambres. Les 2 chambres que nous avions etaient toutes les deux mitoyennes avec un autre, avec une simple porte, laissant passer beaucoup trop de bruit (et même la lumière). ça ne nous a pas empeché de dormir, mais à savoir »
