« 13 of us stayed at this house for 4 nights. We all had plenty of space to spread out and come together. The lake access is fantastic. There are so many amenities, even an ice maker. « We’ve spent a decade on the Lake and we had another wonderful trip! THANK YOU to Mary who was a fantastic hostess from the very beginning – wildly responsive to messages, checked in on us every few days, provided recommendations in the area, and greeted us with flowers / coffee / chocolates at the house. She was spectacular! Some of our favorites: view of the lake from the sunroom – we enjoyed all our family meals here; the coziness of the fire pit and it was really nice to have the firewood...

« We have vacationed in Lake Gaston for 5 years. We absolutely love this area and the beautiful lake. However, this was our first year at ‘Floating and Boatin’, and it beyond surpassed our expectations. The home is so beautiful. The views of the lake make mornings on the porch heavenly, and the dock with its many toys impressed all of us from age 4 to age 76! « We stayed for a week in August with 16 family members ranging from 11 to 87 Years old. House worked perfectly for us - huge kitchen, very larger dining room table, 3 bedrooms on ground floor for grandparents, and ready access to the lake for the kids. Plenty of games and quiet spaces in the house, and the owner was very responsive to all questions leading up to our stay. We had a great week! »

« The Perch is an amazing rental comfortable beds, nice layout well stocked kitchen with even spices that u can use. Shampoo and soap included. Hairdryers in every bathroom! Nice towels, nice bedding. Spiders are a little bit of an issues in exterior area but I just swept most of them away. Perfect location with a Tiki Bar and Restaurant in walking distance. Amazing water views! The best VRBO we have ever rented!!!! Will book again when in the area. »
