« We had a lovely few days staying at the cottage which was very convenient for local sight seeing. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were comfortable and lovely large rooms to spend time relaxing as well as enjoying local walks. Would recommend to everyone. »

« A perfect place to stay in Cheddar! The view is beautiful, and farm eggs kindly offered by Paul and Juddy, delicious! The cottage is equiped with everything you need- including a stove and a microwave. The road to the farm looks a little steep at first, but I had no problem going up the hill with my regular, "economy" rental car. Paul and Judy gave me great tips to enjoy my quick halt in Bath. « We returned to stay at the Old Stables again for a few days, coupled with a visit to Glastonbury and Wells. Again, everything was perfect and we love the location, providing excellent access to both towns, with a wonderful rural setting. The space is warm and cosy, with everything being thoughtfully provided for a self-catering stay. We will certainly be back! »

« We found the farm easily but then slightly to work out how to check in as our phone reception was non-existent so we couldn't access our confirmation for instructions. Thankfully our host, Judith, saw us and came out to help! « We had a fab week stay in the cottage. Communication with Charlotte was fantastic, easy instructions in the manual on how everything worked. The cottage is cosy and had everything we needed. Surroundings are great and the kids had so much fun on the rope swings and zip wire. Location was good, the local village is lovely. We ventured into Lyme Regis, West Bay, Golden Cap and lulworth. « Charmouth is a lovely small town and this cottage is the perfect way to experience it. The beach and fossil hunting were our favorite activity. The few shops and restaurantants were lovely...exactly the peaceful holiday I wanted for my family. »

« Relaxing and quiet location. The property was as listed and we were very comfortable during our stay. Little touches like Christmas tree and pint of milk were welcome. Despite the typical British weather the property’s location allowed us to explore the local area such as Cheddar Gorge and Wells. Would thoroughly recommend Berrow beach-quiet and dog friendly! We loved the view out across the fields. »

Ideal location for walking our dog and a wonderful pub providing exceptional food within a few minutes stroll. Splendid National Trust property almost on the doorstep. « Purcombe Farmhouse is a gem. It provides comfortable and very well equipped accommodation, suitable for all ages - our family group were aged 66 down to 1yr and we all had a wonderful week there. « Good venue, clean and tidy. Plenty of parking, space for all the family and lovely garden area. Aga great for keeping the house warm and cooking. Only issue - no shaving point in ensuite or bathroom. »

« This is not the Ritz - but there are some really good points - it's lovely and quiet - so a good sleep was easy. Take your own towels - ones provided were not great - I would also say take your own bedding. One major for a couple is the double is on a mezz and the toilet is down stairs - this didn't effect me as I was on my own so slept in the single room downstairs. Owner is lovely - and my stay in Sherborne very nice. Lovely place. »
