"Stayed here two nights while hiking the South West Coast Path. The owners were nice enough to accept and hold a parcel for me, with the stuff I didn't want to carry every day while hiking. Nice airy room, very comfortable bed and bedding. The fridge in the room was very much appreciated. "

"We had a lovely stay here whilst exploring Cornwall. The room is small and basic but charming in its own way - we’re in an old pub! The bathroom is also small but has what you need. Great shower and good linen. Bed was low and a bit firm but we had no trouble sleeping. Downstairs the pub provides breakfast and you can get lunch & dinner there also. It’s a lovely local pub. "We stayed as a group of friends for the one night only on a motorcycling tour of Cornwall. The Pub was tired and obviously a locals pub. The room was off the courtyard and again was very tired and would not have wanted to stay in winter as I would imagine it would be very cold. The shower worked well. There was a kettle and coffee but we decided against drinking coffee as the inside of the kettle was very old and covered in black scale! It served the purpose but would not stay there again"

"This gorgeous pub/B&B, The Kings Arms is absolutely wonderful. My partner and I booked a weekend stay here (Friday to Monday) as a base whereby we could easily access attractions and nearby places we wanted to visit ie the Minack theatre, St Michaels mount, Mousehole and Penzance. The Kings Arms is located in Paul and is only a short walking distance to Mousehole. We had come down by train from Newton Abbot and during our stay we were able to use a local bus from Mousehole to get to Penzance bus...

"A very clean and comfortable inn, but not a truly good hotel. The staff, while very nice and helpful, are not available much of the time, the location is somewhat far from the city center and there is no bus service, only taxis which do not operate all the time…I felt the place is truly an inn—mostly a bar/limited restaurant with some nice rooms to let…For guests with their own cars, I’m sure it is far more satisfactory. "

"The person who constructed the sleeping quarters upstairs had no intimate knowledge of levels, squares, and perpendiculars. And if you have reached the age where an in-suite bath might be more of a necessity than a luxury, this might not be the place for you.
