« Cabin was as described. The door code didn’t work and we messaged back and forth and never did get a working door code. We tried a side door and it was left unlocked is how we got in but we waited for maintenance for over 2 hours. We left the property unlocked all weekend because we never got a working code maintenance guy said Augusta was safe not to worry about it. Also the cabin was full of lady bugs. »

« Hosts were great, helpful and responsive. The Home is amazingly historic and so certainly has its limits, but it should not mean it cannot be warm and comfortable with decor and furnishings. There is no HVAC upstairs so space heaters were fussy to maintain and keep on with timers, etc. There is only two lamps in the home, so all rooms rely on ceiling fan lights - which are effective but do not allow a more relaxed evening or early morning atmosphere. « It was clean, beds were comfortable and there were many unexpected extras like coffee, snacks, water. Beer and soda for purchase, qtips, cotton balls,, body wash, shampoo and cream rinse, makeup remover pads, toothpaste and toothbrushes. Also plenty of toilet paper and very easy to get into. Having a light on the porch is fantastic because I’ve arrived at other places at night like this time and there was no light so you’re digging for your phone to turn the flashlight on. « This home was perfect for our short stay in St. Louis. The space was adequate for a small dinner with friends and provided plenty of space for us to socialize, play games, and relax. The rooms, kitchen and bathroom were clean and spacious. The host responded timely and answered all of our questions. The floors were a little questionable as far as cleanliness goes but did not take away from us being able to enjoy ourselves. We will definitely book again when in the area. »
