Wonderful views of moorland and mountains from every room in the house and view to the sea from the garden. The house is ideally placed close to the Stoer lighthouse and for many wonderful walks ,kindly recommended by the owner , in the wild nature of the Highlands at close distance or directly from the house, »

« L'hébergement est très propre et bien équipé pour se faire à manger. Le lieu est calme, les moutons, vaches, oiseaux sont les voisins. Prévoir entre 2 et 3 nuits pour en profiter au mieux. L'endoit est assez reculé de tout, donc pour profiter au mieux de la plage, ballades autour et de se couper du monde, il est préférable de prevoir son essence et nourriture a l'avance. Nous recommandons vivement ce lieux magique pour souffler au milieu d'un tour de l'Écosse. »

« Fantastic stay! The house is beautiful and the location affords easy access for what ever direction you choose to travel. Best coffee maker we have ever seen. Maybe better directions to the home would be nice otherwise 10 out of 10! Fresh flowers were a very nice touch! Thank you! »

« As advertised, this is a remote cottage, suitable for a family with two children plus a dog. Comes with a sheep. About half an hour of single track road to get here. There's one shop and a tea room nearby. Great walks and scenery. Cottage is basic and just what you would expect in such a location. It's not the Ritz, nor should it be. Lovely get away. »

« Les trois jours passés à Bettyhill sont le meilleur moment de nos vacances en Ecosse. La maison, très agréable, est meublée avec goût et comporte tout l'équipement nécessaire. Plein d'animaux tout autour : moutons, chèvres, chevaux, sans oublier les chats qui venaient fréquemment nous rendre visite. A partir de la maison, on peut faire une randonnée qui amène jusqu'à une plage magnifique, presque secrète. Et plein de très beaux endroits à proximité. Impression d'être un peu au bout du monde......

« Love at first sight is an overused phrase. But for us seeing the cottage in the distance as we drove across the Mound on the A9, it really was. The cottage was perfect in every sense. Cozy, comfortable and set with stunning views all around. The owner has equipped with everything you need to make this a perfect holiday home and the bonus of very comfortable beds at the end of the day. There are so many great walks in the area that coming back to the fantastic hot tub makes it all worth while....

« The property was well maintained and presented with a wonderful garden area for relaxing . Our two dachshunds loved the garden area which was secure and overlooked the black river The location was perfect to access to the NC 500 routes and many other wonderful places . I recommend the short walk to little Garve village and bridge . A very restful week in great surroundings »

« On our arrival the farmhouse was clean spacious and the owners had been in and ensured that the house was also warm and cosy for our arrival. The house had everything that you could possibly need for your stay. We had an enjoyable time. If you are looking for a quiet getaway this is the place for you. If you are looking to visit other areas you will need a car. »
