Lakeside Haven (Your Cottage Retreat)

"We stayed for four nights and spent much of our time cooking, so we really appreciated how well-equipped the house was. The hot tub was exactly as advertised and easy to use, the barbecue was well-maintained, and the fire pit was beautifully set up with plenty of seating and a lovely view of the lake. The home was very clean, spacious, and comfortable, with more towels than we could have needed. The kayaks were a wonderful bonus that we enjoyed using. We brought our 10-year-old retriever, and the cottage and property were easy for her to navigate. The host was very easy to communicate with, and we hope to rent here again!"

"Basic room, older property but clean. Best thing was the breakfast - options for pancakes, waffles, toast, bagels, cereal, eggs, sausages/bacon - and the lovely gentleman ensuring there was enough for everybody."

"Access to the property was excellent. It has a large sign on the main road and well-lit at night. The unit itself had ample parking out front and there were fresh linens and a few toiletry items in the bathrooms. One of the interior lights in the bedroom did not work, but most likely none of the previous guests brought it up (I haven't yet either). Also, if you are returning late at night, there is no motion/path lighting if your front door is towards the back of your unit. Some units have doors facing the access road which is probably a non-issue. We waited for a min or so leaving the car so our eyes could adjust before we proceeded."

"We stayed in a suite, and for 2 people it was definitely enough room for us. I enjoyed the property having BBQ grills for each unit and that seasonings were provided. It was like having a home away from home, with a lake view right in front of you. We will definitely be back and check out the cabins next time. I did speak to a staff member and she was very informative and pleasant. Loved the area and the peace and quiet."

"It property has potential. But amenities are lacking slightly ( no coffee) The. Yard area could use some tidying . However the rooms are generally clean and the property is pleasant with potential to be great. The restaurant is quite nice and the staff friendly. I would stay again. The spot is nice ."
