« The room was clean, the bathroom and shower were a bit run down but usable. If you plan to ski or eat at Nozawa Onsen it makes it very difficult. The first shuttle from Togario Onsen to Nozawa is at 9:24am and the last one was o round 4pm. No taxi after 6, so you cannot eat dinner in Nozawa staying here. While it is not the hotels responsibility, it made dining options very limited. The front desk staff was unfriendly, apart from the hosts wife who tired her best to arrange accommodation. »

« Upon arriving during the two-hour check-in window, I was puzzled as to if anyone worked here. I walked in the front, no one. Went around back, just a couple ski resort patrons. I was sure I was in the right building from the photos, but it looked more like an abandoned building with some squatters in the form of skiers. »

"la chambre est magnifique et spacieuse. Nous étions 2 dans la chambre . On nous a prêté 2 peignoirs pour aller au onsen au 3ème étage. c'était très agréable. On a diné le soir au snack du bas qui propose des hamburgers délicieux. J'ai regretté de ne pas être restée 2 nuits et de pouvoir gouter la cuisine de l 'hôtel. Nous n'avions pas réservé à l'avance et c'était complet. parking à côté de l'hôtel gratuit. personnel très serviable et chaleureux"

"Expérience intéressante. On y va surtout pour les deux repas gastronomiques. Le repas du soir avait 7 services. La qualité est excellente. Le bain public à l'intérieur est très bien organisé: casiers, serviettes, savon et shampoing. Le bain extérieur est très beau. Nous avons choisi la chambre traditionnelle pour l'expérience de dormir sur un futon sur les tatamis. C'est amusant mais une nuit c'est assez. La chambre était grande et pratique. Le soir plusieurs touristes se promènent en yukata pour faire la tournée des 9 bains. L'atmosphère du village le soir est amusante. Il y a une navette proposée pour aller de la gare de Yudanaka au Ryokan mais c'est seulement une jolie marche de 30 minutes. Nous avions des sacs à dos pour cette partie du voyage. Je recommande de voyager léger et de faire transporter vos grosses valises par Takkyubin. Il y a une navette gratuite pour le parc des singes des neiges. "
