"The room, and hotel in general, was spotlessly clean. Staff were friendly and polite. The issue was with housekeeping and responsiveness: We were disturbed twice, at around 5pm, by staff wanting to clean our room. The first time she knocked, then immediately let herself in. Luckily, we were dressed. I think it's important to point out, due to pivacy issues. We asked for toilet paper, and waited over 30 minutes before we had to ring down to reception again. Despite these, on the grand scale of things, rather small issues, we really enjoyed our stay."

"Clean room, staff friendly. air conditioning didn’t work much, minimum it hot was 24C… Good breakfast, but for being France i expected more. Where are the fromage options? They don’t mention within the Expedia app that the pool is closed for kids at 5pm."

"We had a wonderful stay at Hôtel Athena Spa and would happily return. The availability of on-site parking made everything very easy, especially traveling with kids. The breakfast offered a great variety with plenty of options for everyone, and the pool was a highlight—perfect for both children and adults. Most importantly, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating; when the family suite was unavailable, they quickly found a perfect alternative for us. Highly recommend for a comfortable and family-friendly stay."

"Very quiet location close to tram stop and a possible to walk to the cathedral. Friendly helpful staff, nice room but the bathroom is a little strange - no plug for hair dryer. Dining room was busy the night we were there but were keeping pace. Excellent lamb shank, tasty choucroute good wine selection by the glass"

"Good value and convenient location in Strasbourg. It’s outside the centre but close to a tram stop with frequent (every 5min) service. Rooms are comfortable. Staff are very helpful and responsive to requests. We had an issue with noise as we were put on the same wing as a high school group who would knock on doors several times after midnight and early morning. We were also woken up by their late hallway conversations. Room doorbells and better soundproofing would have helped. To their credit, the hotel let us change rooms very late at night. "
