The location is central to the historic Grande Isle. We were able to visit all of the areas of interest on foot. We even explored the neighborhoods south and east of the island. There is so much to see and do here. Its a vibrant, thriving city. Be sure to check out 'La Novelle Douane' grocery just down the street. The Monoprix at Place Kleber is also good for groceries. The apartment is spacious and nicely decorated. We were very comfortable during our stay. Our hosts were very communicative and welcomed us for check in. Thank you Celestina and Leo. ##### Chet G. Lots of reasonably priced restaurants and bars literally on your doorstep. There is no elevator so pack light as you need to climb many steps. The apartment is enormous and has every convenience you need. The apartment appears to be very clean but needs improvement in this area. Our host Leo was brilliant and so helpful leading up to our stay and, on our arrival. Really appreciated his assistance with directions to the property from the train station. The apartment has a huge lounge and dining area with beautiful furnishings and it's stunning. Perfectly located for walking around this historical town and visiting key tourist spots. The cathedral is just around the corner with plenty of restaurants, pubs/bars and nightclubs at your doorstep. There is no lift so best to pack light if possible as there are a number of steps to climb up. The apartment has a small kitchen and bathroom, but it had all the amenities you needed. Nice apartment with electric shutters on each window to shut any light out at night. One negative is that it's not a true 2 bedroom. It has one bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. Lots of little pluses not even mentioned in the listing. Our only concern- the bed description didn’t match what was listed. Three adult girlfriends and two had to share a bed as really it’s one full bed in a bedroom and one full maybe even queen pullout couch in the living room. Leo the owner was terrific.
