"Wonderful location with the best view of the marina. Our room was large, comfortable and very clean. Everyday the housekeeping was excellent. Breakfast was adequate but we expected better. France is home to the croissant but the ones on offer here were small, poor quality and were not replenished once gone. A big difference in the reception staff! Generally the male ones were friendly and helpful (thanks) the ladies not so much! Only 4 stars because of the awful buskers every night just across the road. We expected noise because of the location and generally it did not bother us but every night a different busker till very late. Not the hotel’s fault but as it spoilt sleep a lot it must be mentioned."

"Great hotel. Quiet hotel outside the main parts but is an advantage. Near to town and beach through park. Didn't have breakfast but room was spotless and clean. Don't pay for parking as there's nearby side roads that you can park if you travel by car. There's a Carefore mini supermarket across the road if you want to get any drinks or snacks etc. There's no restaraunts near the hotel but you would normally go into the main town anyway to eat. La Rochelle is a beautiful fantastic place to go to and see. Hotel staff were young and friendly and speak good English. Would go again."

"Perfect location for us as we love walking so could walk into La Rochelle with ease. Fabulous room with an amazing view over the marina and Atlantic. Room decorated beautiful ly and comfy beds. Hotel terrace is just perfect for breakfast and relaxing with cocktails while tge sun goes down. Friendly helpful staff. Would highly recommend booking here."
