"The location was spot on, quiet and tranquil but there are areas the location could improve on. We where in lodge 2 and the path from the car parking leading up to the lodge could be an issue in the dark with the garden retaining wall called across it partially blocking the clear access"

Excellent motel in Nuriootpa. Rooms are cleans and practical with helpful amenities. A good value for money motel if you’re in the Borassa Valley region.

Our host Sophia made us feel at home from the minute we walked in, and she was unfailingly kind, warm and helpful. She made a special effort to help us become familiar with the region and made great suggestions for places to visit, including wineries and restaurants. The room was charming and impeccably clean, and breakfast was delicious. Our only regret was that our stay was too short!

We were looking for an affordable, clean place for exploring the Barossa and this was exactly that. The rooms were very clean. It's an older but very well kept property. Quiet location. The owners are very pleasant anc helpful.

Beautifully peaceful location over-looking the Barossa vineyards. Sunsets incredible!
Only one complaint - shower in the evening, as the hot water was scarce in the mornings.

Breakfast was great, carpets in the room seriously needed cleaning, pool was freezing cold, restaurant dinner options were limited, staff was exceptionally friendly. Location was remote but stunning.

The property was nothing short of beautiful! The room was clean and comfortable. The jacuzzi tub was amazing as was the pool.
My partner and I loved walking around enjoying all the little hidden spaces.
There is a lot of effort put into this place to maintain the historic atmosphere. Definitely recommend!
Also close to town for meals and shopping.
