Four seasons Koh samui was the most spectacular hotel I have ever stayed in. The villas were secluded and offered total privacy with magnificent views to the sea and forest. The stay indulged all the senses and I am already looking forward to my next stay.

Must visit in Koh Samui

A 5-star amazing hotel may be our best hotel experience. But comparing it to other hotels in Koh Samui it is at a very high price range. Worth a 1-2 night visit. Superfriendly staff, a fun concept with the golf carts that take you everywhere. Also cool communication through whats app with the staff. Only small suggestion is that like the rest of Koh Samui the pool water is cold. Heater cost extra but it it was it is.

Our last stop in Thailand after stops in the north, Bangkok and Krabi and the Four Seasons was just what we needed to relax and recoup for a few days. Our first time to Koh Samui and the Four Seasons was so tranquil and serene and a nice break away from the crowds on the rest of Koh Samui, an island unto itself. The villa and resort were everything you could want to unwind for a few days. Stayed at several other 5 star hotels and resorts during our trip, but this was by far our favorite and if we ever return to Thailand would definitely stay again. Couple of minor disappointments. Booked the room about a week prior to our stay because our schedule was fluid, but we did not receive any communications from the Four Seasons until a few days prior to arrival and because we were traveling, we did not get to respond to their email on time to advise that we were staying as part of our 25th wedding anniversary trip. Also missed the email advising to download the resort app, so we could make dinner and massage reservations for the first evening. Lastly, on our last day, we had an evening flight from Koh Samui, and we asked to have a late check out by one extra hour. We were politely told the best they could do was half an hour. Understand they need to prepare the villa for the next guest, but felt like this was not a huge ask. The staff was friendly and amazing. My wife had a beachside massage and got bit by something on her face, but she was checked on repeatedly by staff

Go elsewhere.

The hotel is fine. I think that’s probably all I can really say about it. Will I return; most definitely not. There’s a clear need for a general manager change. the GM was invisible in all senses. However, the Resort Manager was present and visible. We had numerous issues through the trip - including both lost laundry, a room change due to the insects in the area. The food is passable but that’s all that can really be said. Koh was nice however the menu is limited. Pla pla menu needs a complete refresh. There is very little in the way of options and we regularly heard other guests making meals up as the options were so poor! If one restaurant ran out of something, then no effort was made to move between outposts. The spa facility was excellent and we had numerous treatments both in the spa and at the house and they were all great. The property is in clear need of modernisation throughout and improvements to cleanliness. You’d regularly go to a toilet at a restaurant and find poo in the bowl or a frog sat in the same place for days. This property lets Four Seasons down. It is playing completely on the TV show and forgetting that guests need a reason to be there. If there were more flights out of the island, we would have checked out early and left the island. One thing about the island - it’s cheap tourism so when you leave the hotel you’re met with a sea of marijuana shops. Go elsewhere! Don’t waste your money as we did.

1st Birthday celebration trip.

The experience was unforgettable: The way the rooms were built in the mountains adapting and respecting nature. The views from the hotel of the ocean and sky was breathtaking. The staff was outstanding, friendly and polite. The food at the restaurants was delicious, fresh and perfect presentation. I will highly recommend Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui.

Great hotel with amazing customer service

I was stunned by the view upon the arrival. The 360 degree ocean view was really great. The customer service was excellent as I was celebrating my wife birthday. They arranged the flower and cake upon my request. And my wife was very pleased by the setting. She also surprised by the Spa department that they make the 'HBD' letters at the treatment room. I would definitely visit them again.
