The hotel is located in the middle of Chaweng beach-a perfect spot on the beach. Food: Excellent Customer Service: Excellent Hotel: it’s very charming. The shower is huge. Quit reading this review and book it!!

Nice central location to Chaweng beach & restaurants, shops, night market & spas. The professional staff was very welcoming & accommodating, especially when one person in our group fell ill. They delivered breakfast to her every morning. And speaking of breakfast, their morning buffet was the highlight, offering traditional Western & Asian fare that was so delicious !!

My wife and I were extremely happy with this very pretty hotel. It’s small, but laid out in a very economical way. The Thai motif was fantastic. Love the beach and the food was great. Nothing I had read in negative reviews about this property was true. Said it was noisy, we did not find it so. The beach was great for relaxing and was beautiful. The staff were also fantastic. Friendly and helpful. We will stay here again in Koh Samui for sure.

Dara Samui is a wonderful small resort with amazing staff. The rooms are super spacious and wonderfully decorated with a thai and modern mix. The downside is that the beach in front of the hotel totally disappears during high water days making it impossible to hang on the beach. This is not the case for the entire beach so you will have to go via the road in front of the hotel to another part of the beach. Honestly nothing negative to say about the hotel itself, but rather about Chaweng being a very busy place with lots of drunk British people..
