### Slumbering Duck: 2-Min Walk to Beach | Dogs OK

For your next Outer Banks vacation, slow down and recharge with family and friends at Slumbering Duck. This lovingly maintained three-bedroom home is situated just four lots back from the sparkling Atlantic in the oceanside neighborhood of Carolina Dunes. Getting to the beach will be quick and easy using the community access just a two-minute walk from the house. Recent updates include new kitchen countertops, new vanities and bathroom fixtures, and fresh interior paint. LVP flooring will be installed throughout, just in time for the 2025 season. Upstairs, you'll find a ships watch deck where you can enjoy views of both the ocean and the sound. Dogs are welcome at Slumbering Duck, so you won't have to leave your fur babies behind. They'll love running around in the expansive front yard with lush, grassy lawn.  
  
Located in the Carolina Dunes community, Slumbering Duck's central location means you'll be just minutes from downtown Duck to the south, and a short drive to the nearby town of Corolla to the north. Take advantage of the multi-use path that runs from northern Duck all the way to the heart of town. There, you'll find a variety of shopping, dining and activities - all just a 10-minute bike ride from the house. Along the way, you'll pass by several popular restaurants including the Village Table and Tavern and Sunset Grille and Raw Bar. The Town of Duck amphitheater hosts yoga and fitness classes, outdoor concerts and theater, children's activities and annual events. There's also a public park complete with a soundside boardwalk that takes you on a delightful stroll along the water to a variety of boutiques and restaurants.
