This landmark has been welcoming families to the Outer Banks for over 50 years! We have 1-4 bedroom cottages that each have a kitchen, family room and screened balcony. Our private beach access is directly across the street and a beautiful pool with elevated sun decks is on site. Each unit has heat/air, TV's, stove/oven, microwave, Keurig, toaster, pots/pans, dishes and silverware The Space: This 2 bed / 2 bath cozy cottage offers all the amenities of a small house in a beautiful and peaceful environment. The rooms are simple, clean and comfortable. This cottage has 3 entrances - one to the main living area / kitchen and 1 to each of the 2 master bedrooms. This allows guests staying in each bedroom access to their room from the outside without having to disturb others in the cottage. There is also a “lock-off” feature to separate the 2nd bedroom if desired. While in the cottage, You can enjoy relaxing in your bedroom, the family room or out on the screened in balcony. Each of the rooms in the cottage is equipped with a flat screen cable tv. Guest Access: As a guest, you will have access to your reserved room with: Family Area Full Kitchen Master Bedroom w King Bed Master Bedroom w 1 Queen Bed and 1 Full Bed Private Open-Air Balcony Private Screened in Balcony Flat Screen TVs with Cable In addition, you have access to: Private Direct Beach Access Spacious Community Pool (May 1 - October 31) Elevated Lounging Decks with Ocean Views Coin Operated Laundry Facility The Neighborhood: You can stroll to some great local restaurants or take a short drive to nearby attractions such as H20BX water park, The Wright Brothers Memorial and Jockeys Ridge State Park. Definitely not “cottages” as described. You have to go through one bedroom to get to the other, which could be awkward. Screened porch was nice except for the big tears in the screens. Really noisy people outside at 2am and no one on site to complain to. No hot water on check out day. Also payment amount/timing wasn’t accurate on VRBO site.
