Luxury log cabin located in Bryson City’s wonderful Deep Creek community atop your own private mountain. Panoramic views of deep creek valley with the sounds of deep creek’s rushing water below. Only a minute from the great smoky mountains national park, where you can tube deep creek, fish, swim, hike, and see picturesque waterfalls. Relax in the Hot Tub on the covered deck with an awesome mountain view. Black Bear Lodge accommodates up to 6 guests. This is a true log cabin with hardwood floors, tongue and groove walls and ceilings. Cabin is a three bedroom ranch plan with huge “A” frame middle with lots of glass and awesome views from inside. Master bedroom has a king sized bed with stone shower for two in the private bath. Master also has a large flat screen TV mounted on the wall. The other two bedrooms have queen-sized beds and share a bathroom. The middle has a kitchen, dining area, eat in island, separate laundry room with washer/dryer, fireplace and the wrap around porch. The great room has soaring cathedral ceilings with lots of windows, new leather furniture, gas log fireplace and HD flat screen TV with a DVD library. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and is well appointed with most everything you would need to prepare a gourmet meal. The dining area has a large custom made log table to enjoy your meals with the whole family. Outside is a private fire pit with seating where you can roast marshmellows and make somores. Lots of covered decking where you can relax and gaze over the mountains or read a book. Black Bear Lodge is all about the location. Conveniently located to all the attractions. The great smoky national park entrance, Tubing Deep Creek and train depot are each only 1-mile away. The panoramic views from the wrap around porch are breath taking. Most activities are very close by: Great Smoky Mountain National Park Famous tubing on Deep Creek White water rafting at the Nantahala outdoor center. Mountain biking at Tsali bike trails. So when the whole family wanted to vacation together, I knew exactly where to go. It was fantastic. Everyone loved the location, the cabins and the views. They have all sent pictures to social media. If you are looking for a place that multiple generations can enjoy and come together, this is it! And finally, I can’t say enough positive things about the host. The views are amazing, the cabin itself was beautiful, comfortable and inviting. Loved the black bear touches all around the rooms. The Jacuzzi was just right for a relaxing evening after horseback riding. The beds were very comfortable, we joked about being goldie locks. We would definitely be back. ##### Carl L. S. We wanted a beautiful cabin with a beautiful mountain view, a hot tub and close proximity to downtown Bryson city. And it hit all of our requirements and plus more. I really like the way they decorated the cabin. It felt simple and professional rather than something a grandma would pick out. We all enjoyed how spacious and relaxing the rocking chairs with the view were. It was easy to get back into town for dining, and to Cherokee for sightseeing. The road up to the could be daunting at first, and I wouldn't want to go up after dark for the first time, but we had no issue in daytime.The view from the front porch rocking chairs is worth the trip in itself. There is lots of space for a family to be comfortable here, enjoying the amenities and privacy. ##### Suzanne B. They provided propane for the gas grill, even had firewood for the firepit. Gas fire logs inside. They provide everything you need including regular coffee pot and a pod coffee pot.
