This landmark has been welcoming families to the Outer Banks for over 50 years! There are 1-4 bedroom cottages that each have a full kitchen, family room and screened in balcony. Our private beach access is directly across the street and a beautiful pool with elevated sun decks is on site. Each unit has heat/air, TV's, stove/oven, microwave, Keurig, toaster, pots/pans, dishes and silverware The Space: This 3 bed / 2 bath cozy cottage offers all the amenities of a small house in a beautiful and peaceful environment. The rooms are simple, clean and comfortable. This cottage has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large screened in porch. There are flat screen TVs and cable TV. We liked the old obx atmosphere - with a nice update. Great location with ocean views. The pool was refreshing with ample chairs. There’s a crow’s nest with pergola. Screened in porch on cottage 11 was spacious enough to have dinner outside and still have room to hang towels. The property was well kept. There is private path to the beach is directly across the road. Amanda was friendly and easy to communicate with. We talked with a couple staff at various times and they were super pleasant. Very clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed. The staff was very friendly and readily available. The pool is perfect. And the walk to the ocean cannot be beat. No steps to climb to get to the water. Also, there is an ice cream shop on the same side of the road as the cottages, about a one block walk, that we walked to each night. Lots of sleeping space. Walk to the beach in a minute or two. Nice pool with fun floaties and bubble machine. Close to everything. You could drive to grocery stores or restaurants within 5 minutes. My only complaint would be the wifi. It was very weak. I would say if you are someone who can't live without wifi, then you would be very sad. The stand alone shower in the second bathroom was tiny. Everyone in my family just took turns using the shower with the tub. There were no curtains, so light flooded in at night, and the sun woke us up every morning at 6:30....not a problem for us, but if you're a light sleeper or like to sleep in, you might not be happy. The cottage was clean and comfortable, the welcome bag was great. The access to the beach and the pool were very easy for us. The kids had a great time eating on the big porch. There is an incredible cream shop and a great restaurant around the corner. It is in a great location where you can walk to many things. This house is perfect for families. We have three kids under 4 and it was great to be so close to the beach and the pool. Everything was clean and easy to maintain. Found this awesome 3bedroom cottage and we loved it! The only thing I was unaware of was cooking and eating utensils. Had to run to dollar tree! Otherwise it was amazing ##### Jack W.
