Seaing is Believing is located on a quiet street in the heart of Duck. You can walk to the ocean or stroll through Duck and enjoy the shops, restaurants and sights of the village. Bid farewell to the pressure of everyday life when you enter this beautifully decorated home. Enjoy a cool dip in the private pool after a long day at the beach or relax and enjoy the hot tub for a stress free evening. Bring the whole family for Oceanside fun and memories at Seaing is Believing!

Ground Level: Exterior amenities include a charcoal grill area with picnic table, basketball hoop, enclosed outside shower and the fully gated private pool and hot tub. Covered carport and entry level. Inside you'll find a Recroom with bumper pool and TV and half bathroom.

Mid Level: Queen Bedroom with TV that shares a bathroom with a Bedroom with 2 Singles and TV. Second Queen Bedroom with TV that shares a full bathroom with a Bedroom with 2 Bunk Sets plus a TV. Hallway laundry area with washer and dryer.

Top Level: Open great room with TV/DVD, gas fireplace and deck access to ocean view decks. Well-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar seating 4, dining room seating 8, half bathroom and a King Master Bedroom with TV and large private bathroom with whirlpool tub and shower.

Extras: Private Pool (30 x 15), Hot Tub, 6 TVs (5 are Smart TVs), DVD player, blue-tooth speaker, bumper pool, covered charcoal grill, high speed internet access, baby gate, high chair, pack-n-play, outside shower, basketball hoop, picnic table, gas fireplace (available November 1- April 30) and linens and towels provided. Linens and towels provided at no additional cost. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made with the exception of sleep sofas, top bunks and trundle beds in which case the sheets are provided. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

This property does not provide beach chairs.

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Family vacations

We get a beach house every year and this was our first year staying in duck North Carolina. The house was a little bit further off the beach than we thought and there was no parking you had to drop your things off and then go back to the house and walk down to the beach that was a little inconvenient. Everything else was wonderful

Great location, needs updating

This is a fantastic layout for multiple families and an easy walk to Duck or the beach. The house could use an update and minor repairs. Several door knobs were not working, toilets not flushing well, microwave door handle broken. The pool is a good size, but in need of a deep clean. Over all, great house and amazing location, just needs some fixing up.

First Time in Duck

The rental process was really easy and problem free. The house was just as advertised and the pool and hot tub clean and ready on our arrival. The house was nice but it is in need of a little TCL. Nothing major, but just a few things a handyman could fix. Overall, the house was nice and the location was wonderful. We met some of the local residents and they were all really nice. We would love to come back to Duck!

Needs updates

Nice but needs some updates. Stated had 4 beach chairs only had 2 that weren’t broken. Pool filtration not good. Dryer didn’t dry. Chairs on deck broken. Dishwasher not attached almost tipped out. Deck needs some repair. Small appliances need to be updated.
