"The staff and the amenities were great - the fitness room was spectacular, the choices for food in food hall were also wonderful. My only issue was that they do not tell you up front when you book about some of the fees, including $100 per night for our 12 pound dog without even the dog parks advertised as they were destroyed by the hurricane. Which is OK, but then $100 seems steep. Otherwise i loved the place."

"What a charming hotel in a quaint little town! We are so glad we found the the OakTree Hotel. It is a 100+ year old building that is renovated with bits of classic pieces- and pops of modern. The owner is a refreshing host from days past- charming and kind- he even walked us to our room! Definitely worth a stay while in the area- or passing thru - and need a quiet break! "

"We will definitely be back. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and everything worked properly. They suggested places to eat around the area and Leroy’s restaurant is a 5 minute walk. I highly recommend. This hotel had an buffet breakfast which was okay….. I usually love Belgium waffles when staying at hotels 😂 but they different offer any but over all it was decent. The pool is heated and clean. They had a nice fire pit area which was nice. We can’t wait to come back. "

"Clean quiet location near lots of shops, bars & restaurants. Loved having full sized fridge for drinks & snacks. We also sat on the balcony several times overlooking pool & water. The staff is top notch too. Great concept. The only con is that the pool is not heated. I waded to cool off while some older kids actually swam a bit. Fairly quiet pool. "
