Within walking distance of two great restaurants; Monsoon, an excellent Indian restaurant and Isana, for fish and sushi. The studio is on the 2nd floor west facing with a peek-a-boo view of the ocean. This complex is a small boutique resort across the street from the beach and Kalepolepo State Park. Turtles come on shore to the park and its 500 year old Hawaiian Fish Pond to sleep at sunset. The condo has bamboo and tile flooring. I'd recommend booking the night on the last day of your stay if you have a later flight. It is so much easier to leave from the condo rather than wonder where to sit all day until your flight boards. The Island is big and you'll need one to site see and shop. Bring snacks and drinks, picnics are the way to enjoy every day's excursion. The studio apartment was comfortable and supplied with all we needed for our 10-day stay. We appreciated the comfortable queen-sized bed, dresser and closet for unpacking clothes, and futon couch beyond a small dining table and chairs. We used the beach towels and chairs and the ESSENTIAL ice chest, too! We only had time to enjoy the pool and spa on a few occasions, a pleasant addition to amenities. We became fans of the two nearby food cart pods when not cooking for ourselves. He had very clear and instructive communications throughout the entire process and provided great recommendations for things to do/places to eat/what to see around the island. Location was great and we loved the pool and easy beach access (turtles right across the street at the beach!). The condo had everything we needed and more! The booking, check-in, and check-out process was seamless, and he thoughtfully accommodated our late arrival by ensuring the condo was well lit and the AC set to a comfortable temperature.The condo was spotless and well stocked with amenities, including extra shampoo, conditioner, soap, bath and beach towels, and kitchen supplies. A particularly nice touch was the “pay it forward” cupboard, where previous guests have left items such as noodles, salt, and sugar to help future visitors. Guests are encouraged to leave non-perishable items at the end of their stay—what a great idea!The accommodations themselves are fantastic, featuring a large TV, a pull-out sofa bed, and a spacious bed with a very comfortable mattress. There’s something special about falling asleep to the fresh ocean air, with easy beach access and such a restful night’s sleep. If swimming in the ocean isn’t your thing, the condo also offers a pool, hot tub, and tennis court.This condo is truly an amazing find and a perfect choice for a Maui vacation. ##### Leanne M. We couldn't sleep at night. We even had to stay in the car for one night. We couldn't sleep well. All of the expenses were blocked. The toilet was clogged very often. The towels also smelled bad. We dried with paper towels. It was an extremely small and insufficient stay for its price. He was going to make us wash dishes without shame. He said you can eat what's in the closet. I was going through some difficult times and needed desperately to at least change my dates for the reservation, reached out to Kevin multiple times asking if he would change my reservation, because he was quick to reapond NO REFUNDS, NEVER responded to my conservative questions regarding the change of dates. It is quite and the whole property is non smoking. Pool area was quiet and quant, the perfect little spot, and the included parking was also great. Kevin's unit is set up well with a nice granite kitchen, new appliances, split ac, a good bed and futon if needed. We travelled with 2, but could have put our son on the fiton with enough space for all. Everything was laid out well with great instructions and communication. Check in was seemless, like going to our own place. The beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels, cooler etc. were greatly appreciated and used extensively. The A/C is wonderful and the mattress is fantastic. My senior friend said her back did not even hurt when she got up in the morning whereas at home, she suffers back pain every morning getting up from her own bed. Wow! And of course, Kevin the owner was very responsive and attentive. We thought the busy Kihei road might affect our rest but it really calmed down at night so we slept well during our stay.
