Maui Vista Unit 2419 is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom, loft condo in the heart of Kihei. Located in the Maui Vista condo resort, there are three pools and six tennis courts for you to enjoy, when you aren’t busy at the best beach in Maui—right across the street! The unit is equipped with queen beds in both the master bedroom (downstairs) and the loft. In addition, a queen-sized pull-out sofa can accommodate additional guests in the living room (recommended for children). Because the condo has two stories, the living room and master bedroom have high vaulted ceilings which add to the condo's spacious, airy feeling. There is air conditioning in the master bedroom and in the living room, which extends to the kitchen and loft. In addition, each room has a ceiling fan and floor fan. On cooler days you can combine the fans with screened windows to enjoy Hawaii's famous trade winds. If you are planning to cook, the kitchen is fully stocked and includes a coffee maker, blender, and all the plates, bowls, pots, and pans you could need. Master of the grill? There is a BBQ ready for you right down stairs. If you would rather dine out, we are located within walking distance to some of the best restaurants in Kihei! To ensure you, your friends, and your family can enjoy beautiful Maui to the fullest, we provide a number of fun amenities as well, including: Boogies boards Snorkel gear Tennis rackets and balls Swimming noodles Beach volleyball (beach volleyball court is just a 5 minute walk) Tommy Bahama Beach chairs Beach umbrella Beach towels Sand castle building kit Pool paddle game Frisbees Games (Guess Who?, Taboo, Monopoly, Pop-o-matic Trouble, Phase 10, playing cards) There is also a washer & dryer in the unit for your convenience. Located on the fourth floor, the building’s elevator makes it easy to bring in luggage, groceries, or just to complete your journey back from a long day at the beach. There is one parking stall provided for use along with the unit and night time security (upon check in, visitors are given a parking pass from the main office; a second parking stall can be rented from the main office for a minimal fee). Located in the coveted Building Two, the unit is removed from the street and the traffic noise, but still close to the ocean. The crystal clear water & one of the most beautiful beaches (Charley Young/ Kamaole I) is located right across the grab your beach chair and snorkeling gear, and you are there! Cove Park is also steps away to learn how to surf or paddle board. We hope you enjoy your time visiting a slice of Maui paradise. The City Council is working on passing new hotel zoning which would allow Maui Vista condos to continue operating as vacation rentals indefinitely past that time. The location was excellent, but I was extremely disappointed in the overall condition of the condo. I am not sure if there miscommunication with the cleaning staff, but I would be remise if I dd not write a detailed review outling some of the issues I encourtered. On a positive note, the set up of the condo easily accomodated our group and the added portable air conditioners were very much appreciated. It was a quiet, bright unit, and excellent walking distance to all amenities. However, the condo was overall, shabby and very dated looking: in need of a thorough clean, significant repairs and a good coat of paint. Specifically, the ceramic tile baseboards had a very noticealbe accumulation of dirt, railing handles and around door handles showed obvious signs of not being painted or cleaned in a very long time. I have reached out to the owners outlining some specific maintenance concerns as I feel this condo has excellent potential. ##### Cherie D. The hosts were communicative and they are thoughtful in the amenities provided. Everything was clean, the location couldn't be beat as it's close to plenty of great local eating options and beautiful beaches, and there was lots of beach equipment (toys, flippers, snorkels, chairs, umbrellas). The hosts provided all the information we needed to get checked in and what options were available close by and they even were very quick in making us aware of the tsunami warning that happened while we were there. Being on the 4th floor gave us an ocean view and beautiful cathedral ceilings. The owners have everything that you need for the beach - 5 chairs, 2 umbrellas, many snorkel & fin sets, 3 boogie boards, and 7 beach towels. The pool for Bldg. 2 was close by and not busy at all. The owners were quick to respond to a couple of questions that I had also. We had a wonderful time and will rent this again for sure! ##### Becky W. We enjoyed the pool and walking to restaurants. All the extras were above and beyond: beach towels, chairs, snorkeling gear, shampoo, laundry soap, wine and chocolates too.
