  • In the heart of paradise, Unit D5 at Ma’alaea Surf Resort awaits with its newly refurbished charm. Nestled just 5 steps away from the soft embrace of the white sandy beach, this ground floor haven of comfort and a touch of Hawaiian country style living, D5 envelops us with its bright kitchen and a symphony of modern appliances. Enjoy the large master suite with king size bed and wind down with TV entertainment. The new comfortable living room sofa can be extended to a queen size sofa bed, promising equally cozy nights, when needed.
    The private patio (lanai), where the world seems to pause, offers a front-row seat to the breathtaking spectacle of Maui’s sunsets. With beaches made for swimming, snorkeling, and leisurely walks, this paradise home is meant for a maximum of two occupants. All units at Ma'alaea Surf Resort are non-smoking. Washer/dryers available onsite.

    Our property is NOT impacted by the recent news regarding potential short-term rental (STR) restrictions in Maui. Because we are zoned as a hotel property, we are exempt from the County of Maui's proposed STR regulations.

Great location! Cleanliness was perfect. Very compfortable bed, All you need is in the kitchen. We spent some time in the pools. We mostly had them to ourselves. I am going to recommend this unit to all my friends.

Except for the unexpected noise of work being done above us which we noted to the manager everything was very good. The manager mitigated the noise issue to our satisfaction.

The rental process was very easy, the resort even reached out to us ahead of time to let us know one of the units in our building was being renovated while we were there. They offered us a refund but we choose to stay and we are happy we did. I would highly recommend this property to others.
