We were given a tour when we arrived and offered use of a gorgeous fireplace (ready to light) and sitting room, but we decided to take a walk and sit on patio overlooking pond instead. We saw a moose, beaver, wonderful birds including hummingbirds. And breakfast was wonderful—great coffee, lovely menu, a wonderful fresh fruit salad, eggs made to order (great omelet option), bacon, sausage, potatoes, toast…such a treat. The history and the quality of the dining are unparalleled. I had no idea it was going to be as good as it is because I came to ski Keystone and needed lodgings in the area, and then was blown away. The staff and service in the hotel and restaurant are also top notch. Carlos went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable experience. The room was cozy and well-maintained, and the common areas were equally welcoming. The resort staff was great in Making sure that my daughters wedding went off without a hitch. They helped us a lot with our rooming situation. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the food was awesome. Loved the rustic Look and feel of this lodge. I had the pleasure of staying at the lodge this week, and it was amazing. Great location, cozy atmosphere, and great food. Super comfy beds. They were turned down and the room was tidied up every day when I came back in, and I really appreciated that. The very best part of it all was Francisco. He made us feel as if we were the only guests there. He was so kind and really went the extra mile to take care of us. We did not get to spend much time with the rest of the staff because of their schedules and our trip dates but with the few interactions we had with them we think they’re wonderful too!
