It was once a popular spot for traveling artists who came to Key West for inspiration and showcased their work in the nearby art galleries on Duval Street. Our cozy studio offers a peaceful base for your fun, adventurous vacation. Just 10 blocks from the beach & a short 2.5 blocks from the famous Duval Street, our location provides easy access to the best of Key West. Whether you're returning from a day of sun & sand, a boat excursion, or a leisurely stroll down Duval Street, our studio is the perfect Old Town Key West stay! Our vacation rental is named after one of our dear and talented friends, James Ferrara of J Ferrara Gallery. Based in South Florida, James specializes in underwater photography. The shower, well....clingy shower curtain in such tight quarters is a bit invasive, lol. No place to sit in room and work. Only one beach chair under bed. The place was easy to find and on-street parking was not a problem. All our adventures were within easy walking distance. The studio apartment is small but met our needs. Our first impression was very welcoming. We did not want for anything. There was ample extra supplies for our stay. We had to reach out to Tina shortly after our arrival due to a beeping battery on our smoke detector. I contacted Tina and she immediately responded. When we got back from dinner, all was fixed. We love the area because it is close to everything we enjoy doing like hanging out at Ft. Zach and walking to Flamingo Crossing for an ice cream. It would be nice if the rooms were bigger, but for the amount of time spent inside it really doesn't bother us. Having the ability to wash and dry clothes makes lite travelers like us happy. She's shorter than I am and loved the shower...I'm 6'1" but was able to make it work as well. It's got everything you need...bed, fridge, bathroom, fairly private pool...and it's Key West - not a place to hunker down in your room! The location is great for Duval & Whitehead, and bike rentals are nearby if you want to venture East. I would say my only suggestion is it may be time for a new mattress. ##### Scott C. Nov 16, 2024 #### Key West Hidden treasure Tucked away a couple blocks from the famous Duval Street - is this studio! First come first serve parking in front of the building made it easy to unload and park our car for our week in paradise. We walked inside to the super clean and perfectly decorated room. Has 2 different coffee makers (keurig & drip), small fridge and everything you could need for kitchenware and utensils. Under the bed were beach chairs too! The shower and toilet are one in the same, but the space was utilized well and again SUPER clean and accommodating for what we needed. The pool outback was amazing too! Relaxing, quiet and always well maintained. We never really heard our neighbors unless they were coming into the main hallway front entrance. Best part... on site washer and dryer! Even gave us the wash pods. That was a huge bonus! The place is small, but far exceeds your expectations! The artwork is incredible, makes you never want to leave the good life in the keys. Being able to walk to fantasy fest and shopping areas was all of 12 minutes. Of course, the keys life is most fun on mopeds! We were able to walk or bike anywhere...very close to restaurants, Duvall St, Southernmost point. The condo is very small, as others have mentioned, but we didnt come to spend time in our room. It’s an excellent location to bars, restaurants, beaches, and shopping. You can walk everywhere and there is a big community pool a block away if the on sight pool is too small. It was tiny of course, especially that shower, BUT this was in the add and nothing surprising. It was so cozy for us! No problem parking on the street and the location is great!
