This spacious semi-detached property is in a prime location in the heart of Keswick. Parkfield is furnished and decorated to a high standard throughout and will suit couples and families who like to stay in great accommodation on their holidays. With a great pub up the road, you haven’t got far to walk for a pint! Yet you are set in a quiet and picturesque area of Keswick, without the hustle and bustle, with an easy walk to the shops and restaurants of the town centre. A truly relaxing retreat with fabulous views. Sleeping up to five guests in three bedrooms, two of which have excellent views of the surrounding fells and plenty of storage and hanging space. For outdoor adventure including walking, cycling and climbing, you are surrounded by some amazing scenery and routes around Latrigg and Catbells; nearby you’ll find Skiddaw, Walla Crag and Blencathra to name a few. Situated just a short walk is the River Greta, Derwentwater and Fitz Park, and the bustling town centre of Keswick, offering the ideal base to explore the delights of Keswick on foot. The traditional market town of Keswick is full of narrow streets with independent shops and courtyards and has an abundance of bars, pubs, restaurants, cafés, coffee shops, delis, outdoor shops and every other type of shopping experience you could imagine. If you like culture, check out the Theatre by The Lake with award winning arts and drama on the banks of Derwentwater (1 mile) where you can hire a rowing boat or even take a dip if you need to cool down. Parkfield is in an excellent location and had everything that we needed. The whole house was very well laid out and the bathroom shower was lovely with good water pressure. Parking area was very much appreciated as is one of the things that we look for in a property. We would make 2 small recommendations and that is the front bedrooms could do with black out blinds as there is a street light straight outside and so the bedroom is very light at night. Also the door on the tumble dryer is broken and so the door wont stay shut and so it wont work, we had to prop it shut, this might not effect everybody but was needed as we had some wet days.
