« The property was exactly as described and we found it to be clean, comfortable, and beyond our expectations. The site its self was a peaceful escape away from the crowds of other parts of the lakes but still within an easy drive from Keswick. The check in process was simple and all instructions were sent prior to arrival, which was really useful. »

« Very nice property with a pretty little sitting area to watch the sunset over the lake. Very clean, neat and well equipped kitchen. Check in and communication with Matt was very easy. Nice parking spot just outside the pretty garden. Would recommend highly. It’s a great location for exploring the northern lakes district and easy to get to Keswick. Very quiet and peaceful location. A nice touch was a bouquet of fresh roses upon our arrival. »

« We absolutely loved staying at Roger’s home in Keswick! The three of us had plenty of room, all of the amenities we needed, and a beautiful garden courtyard to spend time together. It is a nice walk on a footpath to town, and a short distance to the Castlerigg Stone Circle. Roger was very helpful and gave us great recommendations for our stay in this gorgeous area. We hope to get back there again! »

« Really enjoyable stay in a nice setting, pity about the weather. Fair warning there are some works going on on the property grounds making it a bit more unsightly but nothing can be done about that. Overall great. Thank you. »

« The location was brilliant. The property was well equipped, clean and comfortable. However, the external areas were in dire need of cleansing and maintenance. (Getting rid of the bird feeders would help in this matter !!) »

« What a lovely place in a beautiful location, west side of the Lake District. All the home comforts you could need including reclining sofa and a washing machine! Clean, comfortable and warm with excellent wifi connection. Thank you to the friendly hosts Colin and Lesley who were to hand if anything was needed but who were not intrusive or interferring at all. « We had an amazing stay! Everything was perfect.. beautiful area and the Shepard's hut had everything we needed, sadly there was another shepherds hut next to us and we was under the impression we would be totally alone BUT overall gorgeous place to stay! »

« Lovely caravan which was very clean and dog friendly. Well stocked including bowls for doggy. Communication from the owners was excellent. They even sent us a list of dog friendly walks some with dog friendly pubs. Lovely dog friendly pub Mason Arms just across the road from the camp where they let doggy sit under the table whilst owners had a meal. It was a small caravan site which was quiet and well laid out just what we needed. »

« The pictures didn’t do the property any justice. The bedrooms had vaulted ceilings and looked incredible. It was very well decorated and absolutely spotless. The property had everything we could have wanted and more - the owners very kindly left us a welcome pack with home made goodies.
