This hidden Gem wont disappoint and has all the amenities to make your stay the most enjoyable. This space was originally a Bank Barn that was built in the late 1800s and was known as a place to grab a horse and meal as a stop on the underground railroad. We even extended it a day. The property is lovely. Clean and comfortable. Very well equipped. It has a great backyard space if you are travelling with your pup. So close to Longwood Gardens & the town of Kennett Square which is why we were there. Kristin is a very responsive owner. On our last morning our dog Sasha got away and Kristin was kind enough to come over and help us look for her She was the one who found her in a neighbors yard. Owner was very responsive. Our complaints are more about our preference. The bedroom was on the opposite side of the house of the bathroom (made it hard to navigate in the middle of the night), not many blinds were on the windows, dont sit on the couch if you have bad knees and the steps were alittle harder to get down than I thought. These may be minor to someone else, but I wanted to point it out. We would still stay here again if we were in the area for the backyard alone. It is the perfect backyard for dogs and you have several ways to get to it. Also the cookware was amazing and the fridge was stocked with water which our dog absolutely loved. ##### Kelly S. We had a wonderful time in this historical home. It was tastefully done to look it’s time. The barn was absolutely gorgeous with a nice little patio outside as well for us to sit on. We did take advantage of that. There were a few things that we would have liked to have had. A comforter in one of the rooms were not warm and cold and thin there is an animal door going to the basement that is open. That was a little concerning because we don’t know what’s in the basement we did notice there was cat hair in the kitchen and we do not know if that animal was in the house while we were gone or not. My sister did notice it. She is allergic to cats. There were lots of extras as well. There was coffee and cream. Well done coffee bar. There were some waters, waiting for us in the fridge and some snacks. It was very well stopped if we need to go back we would I would ask for them to please close the animal door. This was for girls time away. We had a great time visiting.
