You can hear anything happening in the downstairs unit in crystal clarity. It is very spacious and there is plenty of good food around. Since we weren't really comfortable with someone being there with all our belongings while we were out we ended up staying all day. I understand things break it was just a bummer. It was perfect for our group of 3 friends who wanted a beach getaway for the 4th of July. The home is decorated with such intentionality and it is so cute, and we loved all the small touches. It also was spotless. It was a great location to walk to downtown Kennebunk or drive to downtown Kennebunkport and the beaches. We really appreciated the beach pass and used it almost every day of our stay. An additional fan upstairs could be useful to help with airflow on hot summer days but we recognize it is a tricky set up with the AC.
