There was mild around the bath the bath plug mechanism was falling apart the curtains needed cleaning cob webs in the windows in the dining room

Liked the olde worlde charm - full of character but with faded grandeur. Lift needed for the less mobile - too many stairs and not enough signage to dining room. Lovely view of the river and gardens.

Our rooms were very badly furnished. Shower rooms mouldy and dirty tiles. Whole property run down and dirty. Very disappointing as we had stayed a couple of years ago and had a lovely time. The situation of the building and views are superb. Food was average.
