"We had a wonderful stay at this cabin on Lake Shoecraft. First, Mark was an incredibly communicative host -- clear, friendly, helpful, and responsive. The cabin is rustic and cozy with a lovey view of the lake. We loved the wood-burning stove and exploring the lake with the paddleboards and kayaks. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen very well stocked. The bedroom with the bunk beds is on one side of the house and the bedrooms with the king and queen beds next to the living room on the other side, so if you have a couple of families with kids, the adults can socialize after the kids have gone to sleep without keeping them up. Thank you for sharing your home with us!"

"Very clean, lots of amenities. The couches were the only discomfort. Most of the furniture in the living areas were a bit saggy or hard to get comfortable in."

"We've stayed at a lot of vacation rentals and this one is at the top of our list! We felt welcomed from the moment we entered this peaceful space. Not only was the home spotless, it was well organized and stocked. We felt like we were staying with friends that anticipated our every need. The beach access is across the street and we saw orcas, seals, porpoises, crabs, fish, starfish, etc. The friendly neighbors welcomed us with suggestions for wildlife sightings, berry picking, walking trails, and local must sees. The communication with our host was prompt, helpful, and friendly. We stayed in this home while we were visiting family, which doesn't really count as "vacation" but this home made us feel like we really were vacationing. We hope to stay again soon!"
