"Nice facility, although it may s quite old, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. There is a wood stove which they provided wood for and it warmed the place up quite nicely. The kitchen could be better stocked if you were to stay there for a few days but it has the basics. I would stay again if in the area."

Das Anwesen ist sehr schön, jedoch entspricht die Darstellung der Ausstattung auf Ihrer Seite in kleinster Weise der Realität. Es gibt nur eine Gemeinschaftsküche für alle Zimmer, die darüberhinaus nicht funktionsfähig ist , weil der Gasherd nicht...

"The cottage was as charming as described. Our host provided wood, which was lovely in the indoor fireplace on a wet chilly day. The kitchen was well equipped and the outdoor shower was exactly as described. A small hiking trail on site, resident wildlife and quiet made it a peaceful getaway. "

"We stayed with our family for 3 days. The property was very spacious, the kitchen very well equipped. And we really appreciated the Nespresso machine and coffee pods! There are 2 showers with really good water pressure and hot water. The beds are really comfortable and the electric heating blankets were much appreciated. What a good attention. Thando, the caretaker was very available. We didn’t use the pool because of the weather. Everything is close by, the garden is wonderful. It can get old...

Specifically chose the room with an air conditioner but the air conditioner unit vibrated the wall so loud that it was impossible to sleep. "The hotel amenities are reasonable but be warned there are no TVs and spotty WiFi. There are no nearby restaurants so unless you want to take a 20-30 minute drive for a reasonable restaurant you are obliged to use the hotel restaurant. This gets to my unfortunate experience and low rating for the staff. After our first night being advised it was necessary to place your dinner selection before 12.00 we attempted to do so and were advised the kitchen was closed for the day. The premise had been taken over by an arranged conference and the restaurant leisure area had been converted to facilitate this. I asked why I had not been advised of this prior to arriving and was told that they did not have my contact details. As it was booked through Expedia they could obviously contacted me or certainly advised me in my arrival. When I informed the manager that to close the kitchen and turn the quiet boutique hotel into a conference centerwas unacceptable and I would be checking out her reply was “Good” I definitely would not recommend this hotel "

"Loved the guest lodge. Perfect location, with a great eatery next door ! Staff very friendly and really helpful. Honesty bar a great touch. Breakfast good. We has a Standard room with no air con only a fan which was when it was hot made it quite stuffy in the room. Would recommend guest house though and only wish we could have stayed longer. "

"We had an amazing stay at The Fernery. What makes this place amazing is the surroundings - overlooking the gorge and forest is nothing short of spectacular. The hot tubs and jacuzzis were incredible and we also made use of the spa which was wonderful too. The ladies there are fantastic. We thought the restaurant food was excellent and the staff serving there are great too."
