The Space:

Alba's architecture is clean and contemporary, but the interiors feel inviting and lived-in. Exposed wood beams, natural stone, pale cabinetry and warm terracotta accents soften the bright, open spaces. Large windows bring the desert landscape into view, while the open living and dining areas encourage everyone to spend time together. With room for six guests and a primary suite in its own wing, the layout works especially well for friends or families who appreciate both shared experiences and a little breathing room.

The outdoor spaces are what make Alba especially appealing. The south-facing pool sits at the center of a spacious terrace, with an in-ground hot tub alongside and mountain ridgelines stretching across the horizon. Spend the afternoon on a lounger between swims, enjoy a soak in the hot tub, or simply settle into the outdoor seating and take in the changing desert light.



As the sun goes down, the terrace takes on a different atmosphere. Pull up a chair around the gas fire pit for conversation, or use the outdoor projector to turn an ordinary movie night into an evening under the open sky.



Beyond the patio, more than two acres of natural desert terrain give the property a sense of openness. The surrounding landscape is beautiful in its simplicity, with native vegetation, wide horizons and plenty of room to appreciate the setting.



-Living Area-

The living room is comfortable without sacrificing Alba's distinctive style. A generous rust-red sectional and sculptural cream chairs bring warmth to the airy space, while exposed wood ceiling beams and a stone fireplace add texture and character.



A wide picture window frames the distant mountains, making the landscape part of the room. Settle into the sofa for a film on the large smart TV, enjoy the glow of the electric fireplace on a cooler evening, or spend a slow afternoon reading while the desert light moves across the walls.



-Kitchen and Dining-

The open kitchen is designed to make preparing meals part of the gathering rather than a separate activity. Pale wood cabinetry, quartz countertops, woven pendant lighting and a generous island give the space a relaxed, contemporary feel. Barstools line the island, creating an easy spot for company while someone cooks.



The kitchen includes a stove, oven, refrigerator and dishwasher, along with the cookware and dining essentials needed for meals at home. A drip coffee maker and French press offer two ways to start the morning, with coffee, tea, sugar and creamer provided.



Just beyond the kitchen, the dining area offers a welcoming place to sit down together. Whether it's a quick breakfast before heading into Joshua Tree or a leisurely dinner after spending the day by the pool, the open layout keeps everyone connected.



-Bedrooms and Bathrooms-

Alba accommodates up to six guests across three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. Each bedroom has its own smart TV, and the home's understated palette of natural wood, soft neutrals and warm accents carries through to the sleeping spaces.



The primary suite occupies its own private wing, creating a welcome separation from the home's shared gathering areas. It features a king bed, desert views, a smart TV and an ensuite bathroom, offering a comfortable retreat at the end of the day.



The two additional bedrooms each feature a queen bed and smart TV. They share a full bathroom with a standing shower and double sinks, making mornings easier when everyone is getting ready for the day.



A conveniently located half bathroom off the kitchen serves the main living spaces and provides an additional place to freshen up after time outdoors.

The entire house and property are yours to enjoy! Please note that a few supply closets stay locked to store rental supplies.



The Neighborhood:

Alba is in North Joshua Tree's Sunfair Heights neighborhood, about 7 minutes from downtown Joshua Tree. All homes in this area are on acreage, giving guests wide open space and privacy. The last 1.4 miles to the home are dirt roads.

A personal vehicle is necessary to get around in this area - rideshare apps are not guaranteed.



Please note that Alba is in a remote location, and the final stretch to the home is on dirt roads, so please take it slow. The dirt roads are maintained, and a four-wheel drive car is not necessary, but please note that the dirt road conditions vary and may have bumps and ruts, particularly after rainstorms.
