Progreso Pier Tours and Activities

Property has a nice style with three small pools. Our room was simple, but could have done with a mini fridge to keep drinks cool. Location is perfect - plenty of great bars and restaurants nearby but be aware that this comes with some additional noise on the weekend.

In all of our years of traveling throughout Mexico. The Hotel Hacienda VIP was one of the nicest, well staffed, convenient, beautiful, well appointed, colonial hotels we've ever experienced. The entire staff and the owners were so personable, knowledgeable, kind, courteous and willing to help with any issues or questions. I have to single out Armando and Lucy. They were so helpful throughout our entire stay at the hotel. Lucy helped arrange our return shuttle ride back to the airport. And Armando was just an all around help with whatever we needed. He was always there to lend assistance whenever needed. We never got to introduce ourselves to the maid, but she was absolutely lovely. The two owners of the place were also incredible to work with. They were always available for any questions or issues and always with a smile on their faces. I would highly recommend a stay at The Hotel Hacienda VIP. Thanks, Quincy Bissic

The food options are great. The VIP lounge for fiesta is worth the buck. Not as good food as Cafe Montejo but good enough for the money. Cafe Montejo has the best food, several options with great service.
