Relaxing beach holiday

We had a lovely couple of nights here. It was a nice communal area, and the bedrooms were comfortable. Easy access to the beach and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Helpful to have secure onsite parking

The room was basic and clean. The service staff was great - very friendly and accommodating. I understand the local water shortage and therefore no bathtub plug. It would have been nice to know ahead of time as we weren’t aware before arrival and our children wanted to bathe. Additionally, the shower leaked all over the bathroom each time it was used. Finally, the security spotlight shines directly into the room through the frosted glass in the front door. Please install a window shade for the door glass. Overall we enjoyed the stay and hope our honest feedback will be acted on accordingly. We’d definitely stay again. Thanks!

Fantastic location for walking next to the ocean.

It’s a great place to stay. No complaints the only thing we missed was air conditioning in our room however, their ceiling fan was almost sufficient.

Very poor

We were very disappointed with our room it was very cold and although it had a heater on the wall it was useless. It was also very dark. Even the manager walked around with her coat on.

Litet mysigt hotell med guesthousekänsla! Bra och personlig service. Bekväm parkering precis bredvid hotellet. Familjerummen var stora och bekväma men trist och trång uteplats omgiven av murar. Tyst och bra läge nära stranden.

Hotellet var helt ok men ligger en bit utanför stan, tog nog 15-20 minuter att gå in till centrum med restaurangerna. Rent och snyggt, bra frukost. Men den balkong som utlovats var för liten för att kallad balkong, där hade man inte fått plats med bord och stolar...

Close to beach and town

Nice room with balcony over garden, good breakfast, very secure premises with old world charm and gated parking. Can walk to beach through a track next to the house across the road. Close to restaurants and surf beaches. Friendly service. We were given a room upgrade so cannot comment on the standard rooms.

Quiet road near beach

Comfy bed. Soft pillows. Help with case. Easy safe parking nice breakfast. I thought it faced the beach but there are houses opposite. Pretty garden an terrace at front.

One Night in Jeffreys Bay

We only had one night at the Mandyville Hotel, which met our expectations. The staff were friendly and helpful, giving many restaurant suggestions. The room and bathroom were clean and well equipped- safe, free water, A/C etc.

Schönes kleines Hotel in Strandnähe. Zimmer war sehr gross mit kleinem Balkon und grossem Bad mit Badewanne (Whirlpool) und Dusche. Alles sehr liebevoll eingdrichtet. Kleiner Nachteil ist, dass der Balkon zum Nachbarzimmer nicht richtig abgetrennt ist. Der Rezeptionist war sehr freundlich, hilfsbrreit und zuvorkommend hat uns viele Tipps gegeben. Wir würden hier jederzeit wieder buchen.

Well worth the money

Great little guesthouse. Very comfortable place and warm staff. Breakfast is cooked to order and nice dining space. The room and bathroom we're both large and well appointed. My only minor complaint would be the mini fridge is kinda noisy.
