The house and the host were wonderful. The location to beach and town is excellent. Communication with the host was phenomenal and check-in/check-out process a breeze. Overall the house was everything we expected. The area, IOP itself, had us somewhat disappointed and will probably seek other vacation spots in the future. We felt the locals, at least the local authorities, did not welcome vacationers. From inflexible parking rules to intolerant beach officials, we definitely felt singled out as visitors. It is unfortunate too because IOP has a great beach town vibe.

It was a perfect house for our 3-generation family group of 14. Lovely, spacious and comfortable. Beach is beautiful, and the pool is wonderful. Really appreciated the beach gear available ( large canopy, and many chairs).

Wonderful Week with Family

This house was wonderful for our family of 8 adults and 3 children. Such an easy walk to a beautiful, wide, uncrowded beach! The pool might have been the highlight of the week - it's shady in the afternoon which was nice after a morning at the beach! The children, ages 8, 5, and 3, loved the bedroom with the trundle beds. The kitchen was very well-stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent Stay and Hosts

Property owners were friendly and accommodating. They provide little extras like extra towels, smores for the fire pit, and even firewood. This was above and beyond what I have experienced in the past from rentals. Highly recommend this property if interested in the Isle of Palms area.

This listing is just as advertised. Plenty of room for 16 of us (9 adults, 7 children). Pool was excellent, beach access was very close. The owner was very responsive and pleasant. Would definitely recommend for a large group.

Comfortable beach house and location

Great beach house for our family. Enjoyed the private pool and convenient location. A little paint and updating in the bathrooms would give it a little nicer appearance, but overall, it provided us with everything we needed.

My whole family and I had a great time and loved the house. Quick walk to the beach, pool was great and we loved the screened in porch facing the ocean. You are not far from the grocery or restaurants!

Excellent!

Our extended family of grandparents, parents, teens, and tweens had a wonderful stay at this excellent property. The pool and the proximity to the beach were perfect. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, and we enjoyed spending parts of every day on the front screened in porch. Debbie was a wonderful host! Check in and check out were super easy, and when we had a slight issue, she jumped in immediately and fixed it. We could not ask for anything more from a host. Really top notch. :)

Family Reunion - Annual Christmas in July gathering

We loved this home for our gathering! The house was as pictured in the listing. It was very clean and every single room had very comfortable beds and bedding. We were pleasantly surprised at how well equipped the kitchen was with everything you could possibly need. The backyard is beautiful and the pool (professionally cleaned two times each week) was such a great bonus after a day of enjoying all that IOP and the Charleston area has to offer. The property also included beach chairs and beach wagon to carry your gear. Our host, Debbie, was always great with communication throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

Nice location and size , but not worth the price .

Perfect location and size of house . But the pictures do not tell the whole story . Kitchen and bathroom cabinets all needed to be repaired and repainted , along with baseboards. Faucets needed to be replaced in the master bathroom. Doors did not always lock . In the backyard , cinder blocks covered a big hole on the back of the house . The pool had a crack near the steps . Very disappointed in the condition of the house as the price we paid - should have indicated a well maintained house.

A Wonderful Spot

What a great place! We enjoyed our stay, played and relaxed all week. Chris and Debbie are great hosts and go over and beyond to make sure you have all you need. The beds were so comfortable. The trundle beds were perfect for our 4 grandsons. There was plenty of room to sit and eat. There are two refrigerators which is a great help when you have 14 in the house. I think our favorite part was the pool-they have a lovely backyard with little lights hanging in the trees and the pool was a perfect size for our 6 little ones to enjoy with plenty of chairs for us to relax too.

A week on Isle of Palms

This house is very close to the path to the beach, with a crosswalk just yards away! Lovely huge oak in one corner, yard has sun and shade, is nicely landscaped, and has plenty of seating around the pool. We appreciated the use of new beach chairs provided by the owners, as well as a beach cart. House was comfortable and kitchen well stocked. Debbie and Chris were kind and accomodating. If things work out for us, we may be returning there for a week next summer.

Enjoyed our stay! Debbie is a great host and was quick to respond to any questions we had about the area. House is located across the street from a nice beach which we walked daily in the morning and then returned to after lunch to read, relax and swim. Pickleball courts, grocery store and some great restaurants close by too. Would definitely consider going back…great house and great area!

Great Family Time

This is a very nice property. Kitchen and bedrooms well stocked and furnished. Front deck and backyard area very enjoyable. Living/dining area somewhat small for a large group but adequate. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Five-Star Backyard with Pool

This property was a great house for our multigenerational family of ten to gather. Seating was limited in the living room and dining room, but we made it work. The pool area, surrounded by live oak, crepe myrtle, and palm trees, was a charming oasis. An added bonus: the house is located only a hundred feet from a crosswalk that leads to a public beach path. In the other direction, two blocks away, a playground and tennis courts add to the convenient location. A Harris Teeter is located close by for quick grocery trips.

Great location with lots of space

The process of checking in and out was simple. The house was beautiful and spacious. Best of all, it is a very short walk to the beach, making trips there so easy even with the small ones in our group. We had six grown ups, four teens and two children and everyone fit easily. I highly recommend this rental.

Perfect beach home.

We all loved this house so much and want to book it again for another year. It is more spacious than it shows online. The front porch and back yard were such great hits. We are beach people, but enjoyed ourselves so much there that we spent most of our times in those 2 areas. The house is perfect for small children with the trundle beds and it’s proximity to the beach. The kitchen was fully stocked with more kitchen items than we ever experienced. The hosts were so accommodating to any of the needs and questions we had. Overall, the week was so enjoyable because the house was so wonderful.
