Beach access path is 50ft from the house and only a short 20 minute drive to downtown Charleston. As you enter the double mahogany doors you instantly know you're living the life this vacation. The first floor hosts the first of two living areas. Inviting coastal décor is shown throughout this vacation dream home. The dining area seats 8, and the kitchen is very well stocked and has upgraded appliances (Décor and Subzero) and as a plus two Bosch dishwashers. New kitchen counters and tile backsplash. The house has been fully repainted throughout, with white v groove (think shiplap) board and all new light fixtures. A huge, new smart TV has been mounted above the fireplace, enjoy comfortable seating in the spacious living room including an oversize sectional couch. The first master suite offers a large king bed and access to the pool deck. The master bath has a large walk in shower with custom tile finishes. A large guest room with queen bed and charming décor is also located on the first floor with an adjoining full bath. The pool and large deck surrounds the exterior of the first floor. All new deck furniture and a grilling station provides a perfect entertaining area with bar, refrigerator, sink and gas grill to extend the cooking to the great outdoors. The pool is elevated and refreshing on those warm summer days (For late spring/ early fall months pool heat is available for an additional fee, but depends on the weather). There are 3 bedrooms on the second floor. The second master suite faces the ocean and has a king sized bed. The ensuite bath offers a custom tiled walk in shower. There are two guest rooms, each with ensuite baths. The first a queen bed with custom bedding, and a bath with a custom tiled walk in shower. The kid's room features double beds and a tub shower combination. A large media room with vaulted v groove wood ceilings will be the family favorite room. Relax and watch a movie, play games or just open the doors and let the ocean breeze float in. This incredible rec room features a wet bar, refrigerator, microwave, games and xbox. A full sized laundry room is located on this floor. The large piazza beckons you to take up a rocking chair and catch up on a favorite book or afternoon nap! The spiral staircase leads to a little piece of heaven on the roof top deck. With 180 degree views of the ocean perfect for those morning coffees or evening cocktails. Includes $250 credit to VayK Life (3-21 nights only) toward beach gear rentals! Kitchen was left very unorganized - things were just shoved in cabinets - no rhyme or reason. The pots and pans were awful to cook with. They were poor quality and not clean. There were two scatter carpets were tripping hazards and filthy. We picked them up and stored them away. The pool needs a lot of renovation. The water never looked clean. The outside irrigation drowns the front sidewalk so no pedestrians can walk on it as it does not drain. The two front bedrooms above the living space have tree branches that hit the roof waking up the guests. Loved all of the furniture but downstairs family room furniture was filthy. Expensive furniture, just not well maintained. The sound and TV/media equipment is outdated and took a great deal of time for us to get working. Probably will keep looking for another place next year, too bad because the location and space was great! ##### Mary M. We really enjoyed our stay here….first of all, the place was spotless when we arrived. I loved that every bedroom had a bathroom, it made it easy for our family group. The main living room was large with enough comfortable furniture to seat our group of 11, and it also had a great upstairs game room if people wanted to do something different. The pool area was nice, it had sun til about 3:30 or so and lots of covered space. It was a quick walk to the beach so we actually went! The kitchen was well stocked with two dishwashers! We had 4 children ages 3-6 and 6 adults. The house had pretty much everything you could need. The kitchen was very well stocked with seasonings, utensils, plates, bowls, plastic wear. They had corn hole, a wagon, boogie boards, some fun water guns for the pool and a few inter tube floats(but they seem hit or miss). The house is beautiful and the location is walkable to the beach. There were a few things those which I expected they would have or that i expected work work: 1) there was no hair dryer in the house 2)the door code did not work; even with the management resetting the lock many times, 3) the trash was not taken out from the previous house guest, 4) the speakers in the house did not work even though it was indicated they would, 5) the house does not sleep as many as it states (no sleeper sofa). On the other hard, the entire house was beautiful, everyone enjoyed the house and it made the weekend. the garage was a plus as well with all the toys and ping pong table. Multiple gathering spots, from the roof the a beautiful view of the water and sunrises and sunsets, to the smaller ‘den’ on the 2nd floor, to the main living space. The private pool was wonderful to have for just our family. House is spacious and beautifully decorated. Everything u need for beach fun is located at the house. We only went out two times for dinner. Beautiful modern kitchen that we enjoyed cooking in and then going to outside area by pool for fun and games in the evening. Rooftop view was also wonderful.
