"This is no ordinary pod. It is beautifully presented with so much thought given to it's furnishing. I didn't expect to find a wine fridge or induction hob, but there they were. The towels are luxurious and the toiletries are classy. There are even pods provided for the Nespresso machine! The fridge is stocked with essentials, and even some non-essential treats. Just as importantly, I was given a proper warm welcome on arrival. I loved my stay here. PS The eggs were delicious."

"The property is very comfortable and of a very high standard and the location is excellent. We enjoyed our stay with only one slight negative being the directions info (provided by hotels.com) was not accurate. I think we were missing some of the email message text. However, a call to the owner quickly resolved that and we had a lovely stay. Would highly recommend."

"A lovely small house in a remote, but wonderful location. The house was well equipped, and comfortable. It was spotlessly clean and warm when we arrived, the welcome basket of treats was a lovely touch. The immediate area had a lot to see and do, with great walking all around. The RSPB reserve at Balranald was great, with loads of birds, and really interesting flora easy to spot.There was plenty of great food in the locality, most notably at the Dunes Larder (a self-service shop with local cakes, biscuits, meat, dairy and more), the Dunes Cabin which served great filled rolls, and seafood. The Westford Inn was also great with good food and a decent pint!Finally I should mention that Anne, the host was great, responding rapidly to our occasional requests."

"We had an excellent stay. The property is very spacious in every respect. Kitchen/diner, living room, bedroom, toilet and bathroom all give a comfortable sense of space and ease of movement. The bed is very comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped - everything we could want. The knives are good and sharp - not always the case at self catering places! The views are truly magnificent - coast, beach, mountains and also village buildings giving a human scale to it. Famous beaches are very close by and they deserve their fame. Beautiful sand, clean and fine, and great views of the sea and the land. Croft 36, Leverburgh Community Store and the Isle of Harris Brewery provided all the sustenance we needed - full of character, good tastes and friendly staff. We have an EV and were pleased to have a convenient charge point at Leverburgh Harbour. We were well supported by the host and a relative living nearby during a heating glitch and power cut. The place does have a very positive feel to it because of the building itself but also the style and commitment of the family who run it. Many thanks..The journey from Northumberland is long but well worth it and we would like to come again sometime."

"Spotlessly clean and spacious with everything we could want. Our dog loved the garden, part manicured and part rocky, just super. Seating areas and a suntrap. Delightful meeting with the hosts mum, what a lovely lady. The wine, eggs and flowers were extra special touches. The very peaceful location with great views, and only a short drive from Tarbert."
